CREATIVE ALCHEMY
Last week, I hosted the Open Mic Supper Club in Kokos. For the event, I gave every guest a print of the artwork and wrote the following note on the reverse of the print. It’s sweet. And so I will gift it to you too.
You were born for these times; now is not the time to stop making beautiful things.
Tell me your light, and I will show you my sound. Share your dream, and I will hold it with self-awareness of my limitations and desires. This ego will step aside, and the soul will flow through to see a mastermind of golden dreams between you and I.
Even our jealousies will become divine inspiration, and our desires will seed magic. It is true. Unconditional love does exist. It feels like support. It feels like alchemy. And it belongs now.
So let go, sing with the poets, and dance with the prophets. Honour the language the heart knows is true and set sail to the windows of change. Anchor yourself to the skies because there will always be a home when you remember who you are. From sky until dawn, the poets are with you, the poets are in you. This, my radiant child, is your true birthright.
Go forth, sweet child, into the sweetest dream and let there be the sweetest light.
