The ‘Revolutionary’ Gremlin

When you pray, move your feet.

Life is born from life. All we have in life is how we spend our time. To laugh war out of the room—this is my wish and our task. To make life so tempting as to render the old systems obsolete.*

True progress eludes us until we forgive, and we cannot forgive until we understand, which requires conversation. Our conversations will only shift the needle when we can both listen and speak.

Sometimes words will suffice; other times, body language will convey our messages. A graceful cadence is key. We will only have honest conversations when we trust there will be space and love to change. Without love, conversations spiral into defence; without space, dances become constrained. The wars outside mirror the terror within.

The true task, then, is to listen and, in the face of war, find your gifts and continue to share them. The true task is to create even in the presence of fear, to laugh war out of the room, to embody the new, and to honour energy. Your DNA is the battleground.

Create and share your gifts. Although your personal path may be strewn with obstacles, it is ultimately the easiest because it is the most fulfilling.

Ultimately, these words become mere platitudes unless they inspire action. Love. In action. That gets to be your story.

Share your gifts with the world, and let love be your legacy. That is revolution.

I love you.

I enjoy painting simple things and simple moments: a vase of flowers, a rebellious streak of light breaking through the blinds, the smell of honeysuckle, and the frayed edges of hand-spun cloth. These are the little wonders of the world that belong to no religion, race, or creed but the simple striving for joy.

Let no beauty go unnoticed; in that embrace, conquer the shame from within. Even the ugly has her place on the mantle piece.

Music interview - London DJ Acyde

I like seeing UK personalities in America. The grittyness looks extra sexy when it’s out of place. Acyde interview in LA talks about meeting Kanye, the London scene and his fave tracks.

Fashion. Go to 24:48 in and Johnathon Anderson summarises cancel culture in a way that echos my above sentiment.
